Nikifor – Motion Design for National Museum in Kielce

Client: National Museum in Kielce / Museum of Dialogue of Cultures

Project: Animated Promo Spot + Educational Mini-Documentary

Role & Scope: Art Direction, 2D Character Rigging, 2D Animation, Video Editing, Post-production

Challenge & Concept:
Creating a cohesive video package to promote the Nikifor artwork exhibition. The project required bridging two distinct formats: a short, dynamic promo spot for digital media and an in-depth educational video narrative detailing the artist's life and heritage.

Animation & Character Rigging (Promo Spot):
For the trailer, I built a 2D digital character rig derived from Nikifor's self-portrait. Bringing the artist to life, the animation blends his iconic artwork with modern cityscapes, creating an intriguing bridge between history and the present day.

Video Editing & Post-Production (Documentary):
The second phase encompassed a 6-minute educational documentary. My focus was on video editing, pacing, voiceover synchronization, and motion graphics. Seamless transitions and visual timing helped complement the narrator’s story, immersing viewers in the artist's world.
