Ecce III is another part of the independent Ecce series of experimental animated films. The project continues the visual language developed throughout the series, based on symbolism, abstract forms, rhythm and visual metaphor.

The film uses animation as a means of creating an open, reflective narrative. Rather than following a conventional storyline, it builds meaning through combinations of forms, movement and symbols, leaving space for individual interpretation.

The visual composition is accompanied by music composed by Paweł Łukowiec, with the oboe part performed by Igor Trella. The music helps shape the rhythm, atmosphere and reflective character of the film.

Ecce III was selected as a finalist of the 14th Dominican Film Festival Slavangard 2020 in Krakow, in the Animated/Experimental Film category.

A total of 60 films were submitted to the festival, with Ecce III becoming one of only four films selected for the final of the Animated/Experimental Film category.

The finalist selection marked another festival recognition for the Ecce series and reinforced the direction of my personal work at the intersection of experimental animation, symbolism and reflective visual storytelling.
