AMEN
Project Type: Independent Animated Film / Experimental Animation
Scope of Work: Concept, Direction, Design, Animation, Editing, Post-production
Author: Paweł Pauksztełło
Music: Michał Woźniak
AMEN is an independent animated film built around an experimental and symbolic visual language. The project combines form, movement, rhythm and visual signs to create a reflective narrative open to interpretation.
An important part of the film is the original music by Michał Woźniak, which helps shape the rhythm and atmosphere of the work and guides the viewer through the successive stages of the visual composition.
Rather than relying on a conventional storyline, the film uses image and animation as its primary means of creating meaning. Individual elements appear and transform, creating relationships between abstract, symbolic and recognizable forms.
The title AMEN gives the composition an additional spiritual and meditative dimension. The film leaves room for the viewer's own interpretation of its imagery, rhythm, music and symbolism.
“AMEN” was selected as part of Screen & Sound Fest. 2016.
The selection marked an important stage in the development of my independent work and reinforced my exploration of a visual language combining experimental animation, symbolism, music and reflective visual storytelling.
